The NAIFA-Texas Board of Directors and Awards Committee were delighted to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to two deserving recipients during the 2022 NAIFA-Texas Annual State Conference that was held in Houston, Texas February 23-25, 2022. The NAIFA-Texas Awards Committee selected Russell "Rusty" Donohue, CLU, ChFC and Douglas Massey, CLU, ChFC, FSS as the newest recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

A wealth of experience and education is what Rusty brings to the partnership. He is a proven leader in his field and has attained the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter. In addition he holds a series 7, securities licenses and is a Registered Investment Advisor representative with Securities America Advisors.
Rusty specializes in Retirement planning, Wealth planning and Investment planning with a strong emphasis on Business Succession Strategies, Executive Compensation planning and Deferred Compensation packages. Rusty works hard to build meaningful relationships with his clients. He takes pride in the fact that over fifty percent of his business comes from referrals by existing clients.
John Ruckel shared that is was his distinct honor to present this award and "maybe this award should be called the Lifetime Contribution or Service Award because that's really what it's about, contributions that these individuals have made to this industry".
John shared "I've never known him to miss a Day on the Hill in Austin, Texas. I think he's been to most if not all of the Congressional Conferences in Washington D.C. and I'll expect to see him there on May 22nd through 24th, 2022. He is a Lifetime Member of the Texas Leaders Round Table, he's a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. During his production years he qualified for Quart of the Table. He has always been involved in his community and his church and has been a mentor and supporter of many".
