This month’s member spotlight is on Betsy Assad, CLTC, NAIFA-Houston 2021 President!

Betsy, who just hit her 10-year (!) NAIFA member anniversary, has a unique story about how she got started in the business by working with her father and being a young female in a male-dominated industry. Becoming a NAIFA member played a vital role for Betsy as she navigated the industry on her own. NAIFA provided her with the resources, mentorship, and leadership to succeed in her career path. As a YAT herself and an active member of the YAT Committee, she has been extremely involved in reaching out to younger advisors who are just starting out.

Rick Demko, NAIFA-Houston 2020 Past President and a fellow YAT, sat down with Betsy to discuss these topics and more! [Click here to watch the full interview.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQM_BbwglZE&feature=youtu.be)
